Benefits of the Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme
The Orunodoi Scheme is set to benefit approximately 27.77 lakh households in Assam. Each beneficiary will receive ₹1,250 per month, which is distributed as follows:
- Medicines: ₹400 per family
- Sugar Subsidy: ₹200 (50% subsidy for 4 kg of sugar)
- Fruits & Vegetables: ₹150
- Essential Needs: ₹170
- Additional Schemes (Deen Dayal Divyangjan Achoni & Indira Miri Sarbojanin Biswa Pension Achoni): ₹250
Note: The additional ₹250 is only available to those registered under the two integrated schemes.
In the 2023-24 financial budget, the Assam Finance Minister announced an extra ₹150 for beneficiaries, increasing the total monthly assistance to ₹1,400.
